Making sense of life, yourself or others can be so confusing and overwhelming.  I'd like to provide a safe and comfortable place to help you work on making positive changes in your life.  It's important to me that you have a feeling of purpose in your life.  When no one else understands you, including yourself, I can be there to help make sense of things.

My experience began working with children, adolescents and families.  While I thought it would stay that way, I had the pleasure of expanding my skills to work with adults, couples and the elderly.  I've been very fortunate to serve these populations, for the past 18 years, in English and Spanish. My specialties include Trauma and PTSD, Grief, and Loss, and Relationship issues.

I received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Arizona in 1999 and a master's degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University, in Phoenix, in 2005.  My training includes Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). I am a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NCC).
